The position
The SME Selection Manager ensures that entrepreneurs with real potential of growth join the BPN Program. We are looking for a charismatic, strong personality who can recognize well established Rwandan entrepreneurs as potential candidates for our program and accompany them through out the selection process.

Main responsibilities
Publicity: actively ensure that sufficient relevant entrepreneurs know the program and register in order to meet the yearly targets.
Applications: receive their applicants, present the BPN program, deliver information and material and register applicants.
Pre-selection: interview applying candidates, monitor the status, run Business Plan workshops, coach Business Plan preparation, prepare candidates’ dossier for the final selection.
Ensure that selected entrepreneurs sign a BPN contract in the time frame as per yearly goals
Documentation: Exact documentation of all Entrepreneurs’ information according to internal process flow.
Coordination, attendance and follow-up on Final selection held by the Operations Director and coordination of contract signature with credit Manager
Other tasks as assigned
Your profile

Education
University degree incl. Administration and communication courses.
Proficiency in English and Kinyarwanda; German and/or French would be helpful

Professional experience & skills
Five+ years related experience including client exposure in the areas of training, coaching, marketing, advocacy, etc.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.
Knowledge of modern business communication
Skill of using a personal computer and various software packages
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.

Good self-motivation, structured and independent working style
Strong analytical skills and high standards of quality
