One Acre Fund is an agricultural NGO that is innovating a new way of helping farm families to achieve their full potential. In five years in Rwanda, we have grown to serve 100,000 farm families with more than 1,000 full-time field staff. We are Rwanda’s fastest growing professional organization. To help manage this growth, we are looking for a “Hiring Manager” to start as soon as possible.

Your Duties

Identify, interview and hire highly qualified individuals for One Acre Fund – Rwanda
Create and maintain partnerships with networks, professional fellowships, as well as public and private institutions in order to gain access to Rwanda’s most talented workers
Draft and publish job advertisements
Schedule and conduct interviews in accordance with internal guidelines
Evaluate applicants and shortlist candidates in cooperation with other recruiters
Ensure One Acre Fund’s recruitment and hiring process is in line with Rwandan labour law
Our Requirements

A university degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences or other related fields
Ideally 1-3 years of professional work experience in recruiting in Rwanda
Interviewing skills for phone and face-to-face interviews
Fluent in Kinyarwanda as well as English and/or French
Solid computer skills regarding e-mail, internet usage, and Microsoft Word and Excel
Friendly personality, professional and proactive work attitude, as well as the ability to interact with people from different backgrounds and degrees of work experience
