The Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of Kibungo (INATEK), Located in Ngoma District (Eastern Province) is hereby seeking to recruit qualified and competent Accountant. The incumbent will among others perform the following duties and responsibilities.
- To prepare assets, liabilities and other accounts.
- To document financial transactions and processing payments.
- To handle financial records and transactions of staff and students
- To make declarations for taxes, RSSB and other mandatory financial dealings of the institute.
- Maintaining financial controls and security of records like cheques.
- To prepare balance sheets, profits and loss accounts and other reports.
- To verify the correctness, authenticity of dossier.
- Making reconciliation statements
- Perform other work related to accounting
- To perform other assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
The candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree (strictly in Accounting Sciences/option) from a reputable higher learning institution/University with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role. On addition to the above having offered Accounting/Comptabilitie option at Advance Level will be an added advantage.
Salary: The position attracts a net salary of 371,144 Rwf per month with associated career advantages.
