In line with the recent developments and expansion, RwandAir is interested in hiring hands-on industry expert: Sales Manager -Kenya, Sales Executive- Kenya; Accounts Clerk – Kenya; Assistant Legal Officer- Kigali; Customer Service Agent- Kigali.
To fill vacant positions at RwandAir in order to support management at all levels in realizing its Vision and Mission.
1. Position : Sales Manager
Department: Commercial
Section: Regional Sales
Reporting: Country Manager-Kenya
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise all reservation and ticketing activity to optimize interaction into potential sales outcome;
Ensure RwandAir reservations and ticketing policies and procedures are correctly implemented;
Deliver Customer Service to exceed guest expectations;
Assign duties, responsibilities to reservation and ticketing staff;
Ensure ticket stock correctly logged, stocked, stored, stored and all materials properly stocked and displayed;
Report on sales returns and ensure all monies are accounted for ;
Provide coaching to ensure high quality service levels achieved and all policies and procedures are correctly applied
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A University Degree in a related field such as Sales , Marketing and/or
International Business.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Airline business , of which at least 3 in a leadership position.
Airline experience preferred, but not necessary

2. Position : Sales Executive
Department: Commercial
Section: Nairobi – Sales
Reporting: Country Manager-Kenya
JOB PURPOSE
The Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for driving the airline targets onsales. You will be accountable for the top line as well as developing and maintaining an effective airline commercial network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and prepare clientele database for planning and identifying clients’ needs;
Prepare visit work plan for clients for optimum utilization of time and resources;
Visit, service and build relations with Corporates and frequent fliers to maintain loyalty and optimise revenue;
Achieve sales targets in line with budget for profitability of the airline;
Prepare, close sales contracts and deals to key accounts to generate maximum revenue;
Promote WB products and services to create awareness and generate sales and revenue;
Gather market intelligence to identify threats and opportunities so as to maintain a competitive edge and generate sales;
Prepare sales report for management information and performance evaluation and monitoring.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Management or Social Sciences;
Qualifications in Customer Relationship Management will be an added advantage;
Proficient in relevant computer applications and Good keyboard skills;
Superior oral and written communication skills (Fluency in English, French, Kinyarwanda and Swahili);
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices;
Relevant product knowledge.

3. Position : Accounts Clerk
Department: Commercial
Section: Nairobi – Sales
Reporting: Finance Manager
JOB PURPOSE
The Accounts Clerk is responsible for maintaining financial and accounting services in order to meet legislative requirements and support company operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales documents receipt;
Passenger uplifts documents;
Posting of all sales & expenses on a daily basis;
Daily reporting of bank balances to HDQ;
Daily reconciliation of Sales and Bankings;
Cargo documents;
Reconciliation of all accounts on monthly basis/weekly management meeting;
Miscellaneous Documents;
Loading of files (TCN, Idec, Sales hot files, PFM, Currency file)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, statistics and Economics from a recognized university;
3 years’ experience in a busy revenue accounting department;
I.A.T.A. UFTA or ticketing related courses.
REQUIRED SKILLS

Conversant with airline accounting operating systems and procedures.
4. Position : Customer Service Agent
Department: Commercial
Section: Airport Operations
Location: Kigali
Reporting: Customer Service Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure efficient and effective customer focused check-in and boarding in compliance with SLA’s customer expectation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure efficient and effective check-in and boarding of passengers in compliance with carriers with SLA’s and customer expectations.
To ensure efficient and effective transit of passengers in compliance with carriers policies/procedures and customers expectations.
To ensure safe and secure operations and working environment to comply with relevant statutory and industry requirement.
To effectively communicate relevant aspects of service delivery internally and externally to meet customer expectation.
To make decisions on service delivery issues, related to misconnections, baggage claims and flight delays, for customer satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A University Degree in Social Sciences, Management, Tourism or other related fields
Relevant IATA/UFTAA qualification
Certificate in relevant computers applications
Experienced delivering service in demanding consumer perishable environment
Customer service experience hospitality/airline industry
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of airport services and cargo operations.
Commercial acumen with an overall knowledge of airline operations.
An excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) is essential.
Process oriented
Knowledge of IATA recommendations to airlines / travel agencies for selling in the market.
5. Position : Assistant Legal Officer
Department: Legal
Location: Kigali
Reporting: Company Secretary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, negotiate and vet contracts on behalf of the Company to protect its interests,
Developing and overseeing the systems that ensure the Company complies with all applicable codes, as well as its legal and statutory requirement;
Ensure Company’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements to avoid legal penalties;
Ensure disputes are resolved in a manner that safeguards the Company’s position and in compliance with local and international aviation regulations;
Brief and monitor external counsel to ensure legal representation is effective;
Develop effective working relationships with key user departments to ensure their needs are understood and appropriate solutions developed that support business needs;
Prepare proposal to lobby the government and other aviation bodies on pending legislation to protect and /or improve RwandAir business environment;
Provide legal counseling so as to ensure legal problems and risks are identified and dealt with before they emerge as significant risk to the business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Law with a bias of commercial law
Be an advocate of the Courts of Rwanda
5 years of relevant legal experience, with the legal department of a government or international organization or with a private firm specializing in international or commercial law
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge/experience in aviation law is desirable.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Keen eye for detail and good knowledge of company law.
Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
