National Identification Agency (NIDA) wishes to recruit qualified staff for the posts described below :

1. Data authorization officer (7)

Job description

Review integrated biometric and text data
Authorise every card for production
Record issues (e.g male picture/female name) for cards not authorized
Key competences

A0 or A1 in any academic field and must have computer skills
Must have at least 2 years experience in data verification and processing in production systems
2. Biometric data capture officer (23)

Job description

The officer shall be involved in Biometric Data Capture activity, using a laptop computer with finger print device signature device and camera. Other duties shall include :

To capture Biometric Data in the whole country
To upload the biometric data into the server at National ID production House
To organize and manage biometric data capture activity at site
To maintain properly provided DCWs
Key competences

A0 in any academic field or A1 with 5 years experience Key technical skills and knowledge required : a) Computer skills (Biometrics data capture, search personal information) ; b) Communication skills c) Experienced in the ID production systems d) Must have at least 2 years experience in Biometric Data Capture

3. Biometric Officer for Diaspora (1)

The officer shall be involved in Biometric Data Capture activity, using a laptop computer with Finger Print device, signature device and camera. Other duties shall include :

To capture Biometric Data at NIDA Headquarters
To upload the biometric data into the server at National ID production House
To organize and manage biometric data capture activity at site
To maintain properly provided DCWs
Key competences

A0 in any academic field or A1 with 5 years experience and technical skills as follows : Key technical skills and knowledge required :

Computer skills (Biometrics data capture, search personal information) ;
Communication skills
Experienced in the ID production systems
Must have at least 2 years experience in Biometric Data Capture
4. Auto-quality assurance officer (2)

Job description

Visual inspection of cards
Loading of cards into QA machines
Boxing of cards by cell for distribution
Key competences

A0 in any field and must have computer skills

Key technical skills and knowledge required :

Report writing and presentation skills
Analytical skills
Knowledge in monitoring and evaluation systems
Must have knowledge of auto quality control systems
5. Card issuing officer (1)

Job description

Prepare boxed cards for collection
Reporting of card collection (by cell/district/sector etc)
Ensure security of stored cards
Key competences

A0 or A1 in any academic field and must have computer skills
Must have at least 2 years experience in similar works
