1. Researcher and Analyst Manager
CARE International in Rwanda is seeking to recruit a Researcher and Analyst Manager to be based in Kigali.
Minimum requirements:

Rwandan nationality
Advanced research degree or similar to post-graduate qualification
A master’s degree may be considered if a significant, rigorous research component can be demonstrated.
Demonstrated experience in the design and execution of complex research projects and familiarity with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research techniques,
At least 5 years experience in a senior research role in public, private or non-governmental sectors, with direct experience of managing major research projects and teams.
Strong publications record including at least one publication in a credible international peer reviewed journal or publication
Previous or current affiliation with a research unit at a major national or international university or other research institution will be an advantage
Previous experience with an international organization or as part of an international research team will be an advantage
High level research skills including an expert understanding of statistical methods and both quantitative and qualitative social research methods and techniques.
Experienced user of at least one major statistical software package
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving organizational environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a proven ability to communicate research findings in a compelling and accessible way.
Familiarity with the main conceptual frameworks underpinning gender analysis and women’s empowerment will be an advantage
Previous experience in an international development organization will be an advantage
IT skills including key MS Office applications.

CARE International in Rwanda is seeking to recruit an “Enterprise Development Manager” to be based in KIGALI.
Minimum requirements:

Rwandan Nationality;
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in cooperatives, rural economy studies, Rural development, social sciences or other related field;
At least 3 years successful experience in rural development /microfinance or cooperative programs ;
Minimum three (2) years experience as a trainer;
A good understanding of the agriculture sector, policy environment and entrepreneurship;
Proven skills in community mobilization and reporting;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Fully computer literate and have report writing skills;
Able to work with a minimum of supervision;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Languages: English or/and French: Excellent oral and written communication skills in one of these languages and proficiency in the other language.
